Reverend Linda S. Carter has been actively engaged in transformative ministry since she accepted her call in 1998. Licensed to preach in 2001 and ordained by the American Baptist Churches of the USA in 2004, she is continuing to create opportunities for believers and seekers alike to hear and access the Word of God.
A native of the Midwest, Carter earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and her Master of Divinity from Northern Theological Seminary. Post-graduate, she served as an endorsed Chaplain in healthcare and held various ministry leadership positions within the local church including Youth Pastor, Women’s Ministry Pastor, Christian Education Director, Associate Pastor and Assistant Pastor.
Carter's continuing agenda is to serve as a vessel for God to transform lives through the profoundness of His Word. She utilizes a charismatic and candid approach to connect with people in denominational, traditional and non-traditional settings to meet the moment, and the mission to make an impact and imprint for Christ Jesus.
Carter is a published author and released her first book entitled The Small Fine Print: God’s Plan for Your Vision in 2021, and the companion workbook of the same title in 2022. Her new book, Sacred Whispers: 90 Devotional for God's Ears Only is available now.
Carter currently resides in North Carolina and when she is not writing, preaching or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family.
